Core responsible: Prof Joakim Lundeberg (joalun@kth.se)

Contact Person: Research Engineer Frida Lindström (frida.lindstrom@biotech.kth.se)

Objectives:
Sequence Capture - Target enrichment before sequencing.
Gene Expression Service on Agilent microarrays.
Description:
KTH Microarray Center is part of KTH Genome Center, which is a SWEDAC accredited unit.
Sequence Capture:
NimbleGen Sequence Capture arrays enable you to produce targeted, sequencing-ready samples for use with next-generation sequencing instruments like the Genome Sequencer FLX System from 454 Life Sciences. Utilizing high-density, long-oligo NimbleGen arrays, either the whole human exome or the human genomic regions you specify are hybridized and eluted, ready for subsequent amplification and sequencing. For the sequencing part see Sequencing Center. It is important to keep in mind that the customer designs and buy their own arrays from NimbleGen and send them to us. The cost for the NimbleGen Sequence Capture is depending on the number of samples, protocol etc. We can provide you a quote after initial discussions.

Gene Expression Service:
The research community can submit RNA samples to be analyzed on Agilent commercially produced microarrays. The RNA is quality controlled followed by amplification, labeling and hybridization. The hybridized arrays are scanned and image analysis is performed. It is important to keep in mind that we do not provide the analysis of the data. For users who need help with thorough data analysis we recommend ArrayAdvice, (www.arrayadvice.se or info@arrayadvice.se).
The cost for the Gene Expression Service is depending on the number of samples, your choice of array and protocol. We can provide you a quote after initial discussions.
